Our Team – Oliver Guest

Background:

Oliver has over 9 years of experience in Architectural Technology and graduated in 2020 with a 1^st class honour’s at Solent University.  In addition to the work on his course, he has worked across a variety of projects with a particular focus on delivering medium to large residential schemes with National Developers.  Oliver takes pride in all his projects striving for perfection whilst paying close attention to the needs of the client.  As a Senior member of the team, Oliver takes new members of staff under his wing to give them the tips and tricks learnt over years of practice and having been an apprentice himself, knows just how daunting the start of a career can be. Oliver is always pushing the Boundaries of the Software we use to get the most out of it. 

Favourite Projects:

Historically, the old Horlicks factory site for Berkeley Homes provided various challenges with both new build high rise and refurb of the existing factory.  This helped Oliver gain a solid foundation of knowledge for concrete frame high rise buildings as well as the basis of managing elements of the project across the Symmetry Team.  Currently Oliver is heading up the residential development at Manor Lane for Berkeley Homes overseeing the project and coordinating resource within the team to achieve the deadlines and meet the expectations of the client.

Beyond Work:

Outside of Work, Oliver became a father in mid 2024 to his baby girl.  He has learnt that life changes at break neck speed and his daughter is already growing up so fast, making memories everyday and looking forward to his first Christmas as a new family of three.
